About Microwave Sensor
Microwave sensors switch a light on the moment they detect movement, then let it fall back to standby or off once the space is clear. They work by monitoring a field around the fixture, so unlike a basic PIR they can sense motion through some materials and cover a wider area.
They suit security lighting, stairwells, corridors and workspaces where lights only need to be on when someone is actually there. That cuts running costs and adds a layer of deterrent, since a light coming on unprompted tends to put off anyone loitering.
The range here includes standalone attachable sensors, Bluetooth-enabled units for wireless control, and dedicated controllers for LED strip such as staircase lighting. Compact eco versions are also available where a smaller footprint is needed.
