About Energy Storage With Enclosure
Enclosed VRLA lead acid battery banks for solar energy storage, built into a metal rack with cabling, a DC isolator and fuses already fitted. Capacities run from 5.5kWh up to 22kWh, in 24V and 48V configurations to suit off-grid and hybrid inverters.
These systems are used to store energy from photovoltaic arrays, back up supplies during power failures, and support off-grid and industrial standby applications. The rated cycle life at 50% depth of discharge makes them suitable for daily cycling in residential and small commercial installations.
Because the batteries, cabling and protection components are pre-assembled, installers can connect a battery inverter without sourcing and wiring individual parts. The range covers a spread of capacities so systems can be sized to match PV array output from 3kWp upward.
