48V Off-Grid

These are complete 48V off-grid solar kits built around a hybrid inverter, solar panels and battery storage, designed to generate power in locations without a mains connection. The core system is a 5kW hybrid inverter producing 230V AC, and it can be scaled up to 45kW output by adding supplementary inverters.

Kits are configurable to the size of the installation. You choose the number of batteries and panels, with a choice of OPzS, GEL or lithium-ion battery chemistries. Panel and battery capacities across the range span from smaller 4-5kW arrays up to 16kW systems with over 20kWh of storage.

Each kit ships with a metal battery enclosure and a ready-wired cabinet holding the electrical equipment, cutting down on-site installation work. For extra charging capacity, a petrol or diesel generator can be connected to the inverter's AC input, delivering up to 160 amps; the generator should supply around 50% more watts than the inverter's rating.

All the components needed for setup are included: cables, fuses, caps, screws and breakers, alongside the panels and 48V batteries, with instructions written for installers without advanced electrical training. Kits are manufactured in the UK and covered by a two-year guarantee.
