OPzS Lead Acid

Hoppecke OPzS vented lead acid batteries are built for cycling duty in off-grid solar systems where long service life matters more than upfront cost. The tubular plate design gives strong cycle stability even when the battery sits at partial state of charge for long periods, which is typical of solar arrays through winter.

Cell dimensions follow DIN 40797-3, and 2V cells are available from 280Ah up to 4700Ah, so systems can be sized precisely rather than rounded up to the nearest off-the-shelf pack. Pre-configured 48V battery banks built from 24 cells in series are also stocked, in 350Ah and 520Ah capacities, for installers who want a ready-made 24V or 48V arrangement.

Every battery ships with the accessories needed for a proper install, including insulated bolts, double-insulated flexible cables and copper bus bars, along with instructions covering the connection process.
