Several models offer tri-colour or tunable colour temperature, switching between cool white and warm white or a blend of the two, which is useful where the same fitting needs to work in different settings. Waterproof options rated IP54 are suitable for damp areas such as bathrooms and utility rooms.

Fittings in this category are dimmable, with a beam angle of around 120° and a Colour Rendering Index above 80 for accurate colour rendering. Average lifespan is rated at 50,000 hours, and the slim aluminium body is designed for good heat dissipation and a discreet fit against plasterboard, wood or concrete ceilings.
