T8 LED Tubes

T8 LED tubes replace conventional fluorescent tubes without needing a new fitting. They use SMD2835 LEDs behind a frosted cover, in the same linear shape and dimensions as a standard T8 CFL tube, so they drop straight into existing housings.

Each tube has a built-in LED driver, which removes the need for the electromagnetic or electronic ballast that fluorescent tubes rely on to start and run. This intelligent power supply is behind the energy savings these tubes offer over old-style tubes. They're single-ended, with mains voltage connected to one side only, and rotating end caps let you lock the tube into the position that directs light where it's needed.

Lengths run from 60cm to 240cm, with wattages rising accordingly, so you can match the tube to the fitting you're replacing. There's also an emergency conversion pack with a LiFePO4 battery for sites that need backup lighting.
