Product Description

The Hytronik HC009S/EXT is a microwave occupancy sensor built for false or plasterboard ceilings, with an integrated photocell. It sits hidden above the ceiling line and remotely switches LED loads up to 1200W, so it works even when the light fitting itself has no room for an internal sensor.

Applications

The HC009S/EXT is intended for small light fittings where a sensor cannot be fitted internally. A common project is an office with a false or plasterboard ceiling lit by 600x600 LED panels: the sensor mounts above the ceiling, invisible from below, and controls the panels remotely.

False ceiling installation

Because the sensor sits above the ceiling tile rather than in the fitting itself, the surface finish stays clean with no visible sensor housing, while the microwave detection still reads movement in the room below.
