Hytronik make microwave presence sensors for lighting. Microwave detection sees movement through thin materials such as a fitting's diffuser, so the sensor can be hidden inside the luminaire rather than stuck on the outside of it.
The range covers attachable sensors that mount onto a fitting, detachable antenna versions for when the sensor body has to sit somewhere the antenna cannot, and SensorDIM drivers that combine the driver and the sensor in one unit. Bluetooth models let you set detection range, hold time and standby dimming from a phone instead of with a screwdriver and a ladder.
They are the usual answer for corridors, stairwells and stores where lights should not be on all day but should never leave anyone in the dark.
