Microwave Motion Sensor Ceiling Switch 360f IP20 | Hytronik HMW28

The Hytronik HMW28 is a flush-mounted microwave motion sensor for ceiling installation, replacing the discontinued HC008S, HC002S and HMW20. It switches lighting on when it detects movement and turns it off again after a chosen hold time if no motion is picked up.

• Detection angle, 360 degrees
• Switched load, up to 800W resistive and up to 800W inductive/capacitive
• Daylight sensor, built-in photocell switches off the load when there is enough natural light, with an adjustable threshold that can also be disabled
• Cut-out diameter, 78mm
• Height, 73mm
• Adjustable settings, detection area, hold time and daylight threshold can all be set by the installer

Applications

Fitted discreetly into plasterboard, suspended, false or wooden ceilings, with the photocell integrated into the top of the unit. Suited to corridors, offices, stairwells and other spaces where lights should respond automatically to occupancy and available daylight.

Adjustability

Every parameter is user adjustable, so the sensor can be tuned to the room rather than left on factory defaults. The daylight function can be switched off entirely if the sensor needs to operate regardless of ambient light.
