16kW Off-Grid Solar Kit 20kWh Pylontech US5000 | JA Solar 465W Panels

This 16kW off-grid solar kit pairs two parallel Conversol MAX 8kW inverter-chargers with four Pylontech US5000 lithium batteries, giving 20kWh of usable storage at 95% depth of discharge. Twenty JA Solar 465W monocrystalline panels provide 9,300W of PV capacity, and the system can be expanded to 40 panels (18,600W) with up to six parallel inverters. It suits domestic and small commercial properties that need continuous off-grid power or grid-backup capability.

Applications

Suited to domestic off-grid power systems, grid-backup for homes and small commercial sites, properties with unreliable grid supply, and EV charging alongside home energy use. Panels come with an adjustable triangular mounting structure for flat surfaces and ground mounting; other mounting options are available on request.

Installation notes

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician experienced with off-grid and battery storage systems. DC wiring, battery connections, fusing, earthing and ventilation must follow IET Wiring Regulations and the manufacturers' guidelines. This is not a DIY installation.
