The Victron Multiplus-II GX is a 5kW AC charger and inverter that charges Pylontech US5000 lithium-ion batteries directly from the mains, giving you an off grid solar power kit that works with or without solar panels already installed. Pair it with existing solar PV that has a feed-in tariff, or run it standalone using low-cost off-peak electricity.

Running alongside an existing FIT solar system

If you already have Feed-in Tariff solar panels installed, the Multiplus-II GX AC charger connects in parallel. It charges the batteries from the FIT meter and the stored energy is used when you need it, without affecting your FIT earnings. External current sensing supports PowerControl and PowerAssist, with a maximum current of 50A or 100A. The current sensor is supplied with a 1m connection cable.
