Product Description

This 11kW off grid solar power kit pairs a Conversol MAX-III 11kW off-grid inverter with 20kWh of lithium battery storage and ten JA Solar 450W panels, giving homes, farms and remote sites a complete route to energy independence. Solar power feeds your loads directly during the day, with any surplus stored in the battery bank for use overnight or on overcast days.

Off-grid solar power kit features

  • Inverter: Conversol MAX-III 11kW off-grid inverter.
  • Battery storage: 4 x US5000C lithium batteries in a black server cabinet, providing 20kWh total energy storage.
  • Solar panels: 10 x JA Solar 450W panels.
  • DC cabling: red and black 6mm² solar DC cables, 25 metres total length.
  • Battery protection: MERSEN fuse disconnector fitted with 250A fuses.
  • Monitoring: Solar Assistant online monitoring platform for live performance and energy tracking.

Applications

Suited to homes, farms, workshops, remote properties and commercial sites that need consistent power without a grid connection, or want an uninterruptible supply behind the meter. The system also supports optional grid connection and generator input, so batteries can top up from a low cost night tariff or a generator during extended low sun.

Grid backup without export

The inverter is configured for non export operation, so no electricity is fed back into the grid. That means no export licence, approval process or long term energy supplier contract is needed when the optional grid connection is used.
