Product Description

This 12V power supply from Glacial delivers a maximum output of 36W and is built for LED strip lights and low-voltage MR16 fittings. It runs on universal AC input from 90V to 264V, making it suitable across UK and European mains supplies, and draws less than 0.5W when idle.

Applications

Designed for LED strip lighting and low-voltage MR16 downlighters, where a clean, stable DC output matters. The output is flicker-free and free from harmonics and electromagnetic interference, protecting the LED array connected to it.

Installation

Terminal blocks on both the AC input and DC output mean the driver can be wired with just a screwdriver, no soldering or crimping required. The case is fully isolated plastic.

Build and protection

The unit is a Class 2 power supply in constant voltage (CV) mode, with over-current and short-circuit protection built in. Under unstable mains conditions the driver and the connected LEDs are kept safe.
