This 16W LED gear tray replacement is built to swap directly into round ceiling or wall fittings that previously held a 28W or 36W CFL 2D lamp. It uses SMD2835 chips and comes with a built-in driver already mounted on the metal tray, so there's no need to source a separate control gear unit.

Colour temperature options

The tray is offered across three colour temperatures: warm white at 2700K producing 1400lumen, natural white at 4000K producing 1500lumen, and cool white at 6000K producing 1600lumen.

Installation and wiring

A fully insulated junction box protects the mains connection, and the current version has a three-way power block for switched live, neutral and earth. Electricians and lighting designers can fit it into existing 2D lamp housings without changing the fitting itself.

The unit measures 262mm in diameter and carries a beam angle of 120deg. Power factor is rated at 0.95, drawing 250mA, with an average lifetime of 50,000 hours and an operating range of -20°C to 45°C. It carries TUV, ROHS Compliant, CE and UL certification, and comes with a 5 year warranty.
