Product Description
The Victron Inverter 12/2000 230V Smart converts 12V DC battery power into a 230V AC pure sine wave supply, with a continuous output of 2000VA. It suits off-grid installations, marine systems, campervans and backup power setups where a stable AC supply from a 12V bank is needed. Built-in Bluetooth lets you monitor and configure the unit straight from a phone, with no separate display or cable required.
Victron inverter key features

- Adjustable thresholds, low battery shutdown, restart and alarm levels can be tuned in VictronConnect to match the battery chemistry and bank size.
- Protection, over-temperature, overload, short circuit and reverse polarity, with automatic recovery where appropriate.

Product overview
A high-frequency transformer design gives a clean sine wave output, which matters for variable-speed motors, medical equipment, audio gear and switch-mode power supplies. These loads can misbehave on a modified sine wave; this unit avoids that problem. For permanent monitoring, it can be linked to a Victron GX device over VE.Direct (sold separately), feeding data into the Venus OS dashboard and VRM portal. It is not a hybrid inverter: there's no built-in battery charger or solar charge controller. Where that's needed, Victron's MultiPlus range is the better fit.
