This model sits at the entry level of Victron's VE.Direct inverter range. It converts 12V DC battery power into a clean 230V AC sine wave, so it can run loads a modified sine wave inverter cannot, including variable-speed motors and electronics with switch-mode power supplies. At 375VA it suits single appliances or light loads rather than whole-system backup.

The VE.Direct interface sets this apart from basic inverters. With a VE.Direct to USB cable or a compatible GX device, installers can monitor status, input voltage and output load remotely. That matters in fixed installations such as caravans, boats or small off-grid cabins. The port supports data logging and integration into a wider Victron system, but not two-way control.

Protection is automatic. The unit shuts down on low battery voltage to prevent deep discharge damage, on overload to protect connected equipment, and on over-temperature if ventilation is insufficient. These thresholds are factory-set and not user-adjustable.

Installation notes
