Product overview

The unit runs a true sine wave inverter alongside a multi-stage charger. With AC input present, it charges the battery bank and passes power to connected loads. When AC input is lost, it switches to inverter mode automatically, fast enough to keep most computers and sensitive electronics running through the changeover.

VE.Bus allows several MultiPlus units to be configured together for more capacity, or arranged in split-phase or three-phase setups. It also links to Victron GX monitoring devices such as the Cerbo GX, giving visibility of battery state of charge and AC input and output data.

PowerControl and PowerAssist help where the available AC supply is limited. PowerControl caps charger current so a shore breaker does not trip. PowerAssist adds battery power during short demand peaks, letting a 16A shore connection support loads that would otherwise exceed it.
