Product Description

The Victron Inverter 24/375 converts 24V DC into 375VA of continuous 230V AC power, output through a SCHUKO socket. It suits off-grid, marine and vehicle installations running a 24V battery bank, and includes a VE.Direct port for connection to the wider Victron monitoring ecosystem.

Key features

  • Output, 375VA continuous AC from a 24V DC input.
  • AC socket, 230V AC delivered via a SCHUKO connector.
  • VE.Direct port, connects to Victron GX devices, MPPT chargers and the VictronConnect app.
  • Pure sine wave output, suited to sensitive electronics, motors and appliances needing clean AC.
  • Weight, 3.25 kg, compact enough for tight installations such as campervans and boats.
  • Protection, low battery voltage shutdown, over-temperature and overload protection built in.

Product overview

This sits at the entry point of Victron's VE.Direct inverter range. A 24V input suits systems already running a 24V bank, such as larger leisure vehicle builds, where cable losses are lower than with 12V equivalents. The 375VA rating covers laptops, LED lighting, phone chargers and small power tools, but it is not intended for high-draw appliances like kettles or heaters.

VE.Direct lets the inverter talk to a Victron GX device such as the Cerbo GX, giving remote monitoring, on/off control and VRM data logging. It also connects to a PC or phone via a VE.Direct to USB cable, opening up VictronConnect for firmware updates and configuration without a full GX setup.

The SCHUKO output is the standard continental European earthed socket. UK users will need a SCHUKO-to-UK adapter or lead. This is a standalone inverter: it does not include a battery charger or solar charge controller.

Applications

  • Campervans and motorhomes with a 24V battery system needing a 230V AC supply for small appliances.
  • Narrowboats and sailing vessels with 24V DC house banks powering electronics or tools.
  • Small off-grid cabins or sheds running lighting and low-draw devices.
  • Backup power for routers, communications equipment or small UPS-style loads.
  • Part of a larger Victron system where VE.Direct integration with a GX device or MPPT charger is needed.

What's in the box

  • 1 x Victron Inverter 24/375 230V VE.Direct SCHUKO (PIN241371200)

Installation notes

Connect to a 24V DC battery bank using appropriately rated DC cabling and fusing, keeping DC runs as short as possible to limit voltage drop and heat. This inverter is not for grid-tied or grid-parallel use and does not require G98 or G99 notification. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or someone competent with DC systems, with adequate ventilation around the unit. The SCHUKO output is not earthed the same way as a UK BS1363 socket, so check earthing arrangements before connecting sensitive equipment.
