How it works

When AC input is available from shore power or a generator, the MultiPlus passes power through to connected loads while charging the battery bank. When that supply is lost, it switches to inverter mode. The 40A charger adjusts absorption time according to the previous discharge depth, which reduces unnecessary charge time over repeated cycles.

VE.Bus connectivity allows configuration through VE.Configure software and monitoring via a GX device such as the Cerbo GX. Multiple units can run in parallel, or be set up for split-phase or three-phase output.

Installation notes

Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited installer. The unit needs a correctly rated 24V battery bank with suitable DC cabling and fusing. AC wiring must comply with BS 7671. Any grid-connected or export application requires G98 or G99 compliance and DNO notification. VE.Configure software lets an installer set charge voltages and thresholds to match the battery chemistry in use.
