Product Description

The Victron LiFePO4 25.6V 200Ah NG is a lithium iron phosphate battery from Victron's New Generation range, built for off-grid, marine and backup power installations. Nominal capacity is 5.12kWh, and the unit weighs 37kg, considerably lighter than an equivalent lead-acid bank.

Applications

This battery suits 24V system architectures. Two units in series form a nominal 48V (51.2V) bank; multiple units in parallel increase capacity at 24V. Typical uses include Victron MultiPlus or Quattro off-grid systems, marine and narrowboat house banks, vehicle-based 24V power systems, and backup power for telecoms, industrial or remote monitoring sites. Confirm BMS compatibility with the rest of your Victron system before specifying.

Installation notes

Fitting must be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited installer experienced with lithium systems. A compatible BMS is required, along with a charger or inverter-charger set to a lithium charge profile rather than lead-acid settings. Cabling should be rated for the maximum discharge current, with fusing placed as close to the battery terminal as practicable. Grid-connected installations must meet current UK wiring regulations and any applicable G98 or G99 requirements.
