The Victron Lithium SuperPack 51.2V/100Ah NG is a self-contained LiFePO4 battery with an integrated battery management system. It suits off-grid, marine and mobile applications where a ready-to-use 48V lithium battery is needed without wiring in a separate BMS.

LiFePO4 battery life and charging

This LiFePO4 lithium battery tolerates partial state-of-charge operation better than lead-acid alternatives and delivers more charge cycles over its service life. The 51.2V, 16-cell configuration is the standard 48V lithium format, so it works directly with 48V Victron MultiPlus, Quattro and MPPT charge controllers without voltage conversion. As with any lifepo4 battery charger, the integrated BMS coordinates charging and load management with compatible Victron equipment.

Applications

Used in off-grid solar systems built around 48V inverter/chargers, in marine vessels needing a self-contained 48V house bank, and in mobile or vehicle power systems where fitting an external BMS is impractical. It also suits backup power in commercial premises and expanding an existing Victron 48V bank in parallel.

Installation notes

Fit by a qualified electrician or accredited installer experienced with lithium battery systems. Make sure interconnecting cables, fusing and disconnects are rated for the system voltage and maximum discharge current, and check firmware compatibility with existing Victron charge sources before commissioning. Do not mix battery chemistries or connect to non-compatible BMS systems.
