Product overview

VE.Direct is Victron's own serial communication protocol used across much of their product range. This cable links a VE.Direct-equipped device to a GX device, a VE.Direct to USB interface, a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle, or a similar accessory. It is a data-only cable and does not carry power to the connected equipment.

The right angle connector suits installations where the VE.Direct port faces a wall, panel surface or enclosure side, since a straight plug would either fail to fit or apply sideways force on the connector over time. The straight end fits the monitoring or interface device in the usual orientation. At 3 metres it covers most cabinet and wall-mounted layouts without excess slack.

Installation notes
