Product Description
The Victron Non-Inverting Remote On-Off Cable lets installers switch compatible Victron devices remotely without inverting the control signal. A high signal turns the device on, a low signal turns it off, matching standard remote on-off logic used across most control setups.
Key features
- Signal logic, non-inverting, so a high signal switches the device on
- Compatibility, works with Victron inverters, chargers and multi-function units fitted with a remote on-off port
- Weight, 0.11 kg
- Part number, ASS030550220
- GTIN, 8719076036487
Product overview
Victron devices with a remote on-off port accept an external control signal, which makes it possible to link them to battery management systems, generator controllers or a simple manual switch. This cable passes that signal through unaltered. It is the right choice when the controlling equipment outputs a positive-logic signal; if your system outputs an inverted signal instead, the inverting cable variant is needed rather than this one.
Because the remote on-off port is sensitive to both signal type and connector configuration, using the correct Victron-supplied cable avoids mismatches that could stop the device switching as expected.
Applications
Typical uses include remote switching of Victron inverters and inverter/chargers from a panel-mounted switch or a BMS output, linking to generator start/stop controllers with a positive-logic enable signal, and centralised power management in off-grid, marine or battery storage systems.
What's in the box
- 1 x Victron Non-Inverting Remote On-Off Cable (ASS030550220)
Installation notes
Check that your Victron device supports remote on-off control through this cable type, and confirm the control signal polarity matches its non-inverting logic before connecting. Work on inverters, chargers and battery systems should be carried out by a qualified electrician familiar with Victron equipment, and grid-connected installations must meet relevant UK wiring regulations.
