The Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70-50 combines a true sine wave inverter and a battery charger in one enclosure, built for 24V battery systems. It delivers 3000VA of continuous inverter output alongside a 70A charger, with a 50A AC transfer switch for shore power or generator input.

Product overview

The 70A charger runs a four-stage process: bulk, absorption, float and storage. The 50A transfer switch passes a single AC input, typically generator or shore supply, through to connected loads while charging the batteries at the same time. VE.Bus, Victron's own communication bus, links multiple MultiPlus units for split-phase, parallel or three-phase operation, and connects to the Victron Color Control GX, Cerbo GX and other monitors for remote visibility.

PowerAssist draws the balance of power required from the battery bank when a generator or limited shore supply cannot meet demand alone, effectively extending the AC capacity available beyond what the input alone could supply.

At 18.85kg this is a fixed-installation unit, not a portable one. It runs from a 24V DC battery bank and outputs 230V AC at 50Hz, matching standard UK and European loads.
