The Victron Lithium SuperPack 12.8V 100Ah is a self-contained LiFePO4 battery built for marine, mobile and off-grid systems where a drop-in lithium replacement for lead-acid is needed. An integrated Battery Management System sits inside the case, so single-battery installations need no external BMS hardware.

Product overview

The SuperPack range differs from Victron's Smart Lithium batteries in that the BMS sits fully inside the casing. There's no external BMS, no extra cabling between battery and protection board, and no VE.Bus or VE.Direct BMS communication needed for basic operation. For single-battery installations or straightforward 12V systems, that shortens the bill of materials and the wiring time.

The M8 terminal variant uses M8 bolt connections, standard in professional DC wiring and compatible with most marine and vehicle cable lugs. Set your charge source to a LiFePO4 charge profile before connecting.

Installation notes

Charge this battery only with a charger or charge controller set to a LiFePO4 profile, never a lead-acid one. The integrated BMS gives cell-level protection but does not replace correct system design: fusing, cable sizing and charge source compatibility all need checking before installation. On a solar PV system or a vessel's electrical system, connection by a qualified electrician or accredited installer is recommended. The SuperPack is not designed for series connection to raise voltage. Parallel connection to raise capacity is possible if carried out following Victron's published guidance for this battery series.
