This board-to-board LED strip connector links two identical LED strip PCBs without soldering, twisting or taping. It comes in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 pin versions to match different strip layouts, with 8mm and 10mm width options and a transparent cover that keeps the joint discreet once the strips are joined.

How it works

The connector clips the two PCBs together without any special tools. Wire can be inserted without stripping the insulation first, and both strand and solid core wire are accepted. Once fitted it can also be disconnected again for maintenance, which suits mixed connection projects where strips are added, removed or rerouted.

Applications

Use it to extend LED strip runs to several metres by joining identical strip PCBs end to end, rather than cutting and soldering new lengths. It is supplied in two types, one for waterproof LED strip and one for non-waterproof strip, so pick the version that matches the strip you are extending.

Material

The connector housing is plastic, with a transparent cover over the joint once the strips are connected.
