Product Description
The GP-CVP040N-24VH-P02 is a constant voltage LED driver that outputs 24V DC at 40.8W, built for TRIAC dimming on standard leading and trailing edge dimmers. It runs from a 220-240VAC mains supply and holds a wide 205-256VAC tolerance, so it copes with fluctuating supply voltage without dropping out.

Protection and build
The driver includes over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection, each recovering automatically once the fault clears. The potted, fully isolated housing carries an IP65 rating and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C, and Glacial rates the unit at 100,000 hours MTBF.
Applications
Use it to power dimmable LED strip runs in homes, restaurants, retail fit-outs and theatres, wherever a TRIAC wall dimmer needs to control constant voltage LED tape. The IP65 housing means it can be fitted indoors or outdoors, provided it is wired to normal electrical regulations and paired with a compatible TRIAC dimmer.
