Product Description

The Renusol ConSole+ is a ballasted mounting tray for fitting solar panels to flat roofs without drilling into the roof membrane. Instead of mechanical fixings, the tray is held down with gravel, paving slabs or concrete tiles, so there's no risk of roof penetration or water ingress. It's built from 100% recycled, chlorine-free polyethylene and holds a single panel up to 1650 x 990 x 30mm at a fixed 15-degree tilt.

Key features of this flat roof mounting kit for solar panels

  • No drilling, ballasted with gravel or concrete tiles rather than roof fixings
  • Panel size, supports panels up to 1650 x 990 x 30mm
  • Tilt angle, fixed at 15 degrees for flat roof orientation
  • Material, 100% recycled, chlorine-free polyethylene
  • Cable management, built-in cable ducts and cooling airways beneath the panel
  • Earthing, electrically insulated, so no earth/ground connection is needed for the console itself

Applications

Suited to residential and commercial flat roof PV installations, particularly where roof penetration isn't permitted or practical. Trays can be arranged in rows and linked together to build a full array, making it a straightforward option for retrofitting panels to an existing flat roof.

Installation notes

Check the roof structure before fitting to confirm it can carry the combined weight of trays, ballast and panels. Ballast amounts should be worked out against the site's wind load requirements, and the system should be installed by a qualified solar installer. Panel clamps and fixings are sold separately.
