Solar Panel Mounting Bracket Kit Drill Free ABS 7-Piece | Voltacon

This drill-free mounting kit fixes a solar panel to any flat surface without putting a hole in it. Made from white ABS plastic, the 7-piece set bonds to the roof or surface with structural adhesive, then holds the panel frame in place with self-tapping screws. No penetration of the roof skin, vehicle body or surface is needed.

Applications

Suited to caravans, motorhomes and campervans, vans, lorries and buses, boats and yachts, and flat roofs on sheds, garages and outbuildings. Useful anywhere drilling into the surface isn't practical or allowed.

Fitting the side brackets

The two side spoiler brackets add lateral support, which matters more on larger panels and on vehicles that travel at speed. For panels rated 100W or above fitted to high-speed vehicles, an extra pair of side brackets or a six-bracket kit is recommended.

Installation notes

Bond the assembly using a structural sealant rated for the surface, such as Sikaflex 252 or Sikaflex 521 UV, and let it cure fully before exposing it to wind or movement. Screws and adhesive are sold separately. If you're unsure, get advice from a qualified installer or vehicle converter.
