How it works

The EasySolar-II range brings together parts that would otherwise need separate mounting, wiring and commissioning. Pairing a 5kVA inverter with a 100A MPPT controller rated to 250V lets the unit accept a sizeable PV string without a separate charge controller, keeping DC wiring runs short on installations with a significant panel count.

The built-in GX system matches the platform used in Victron's standalone Cerbo GX. It gives access to the VRM online portal, two-way communication with compatible lithium BMS units, and configuration through the display or remotely, without sourcing a separate GX device.

PowerAssist lets the unit draw from AC input and battery together when a load exceeds what the AC source can supply on its own, which is useful on generator-backed systems where a large load would otherwise overload a small generator. The 70A charger recharges the battery bank from AC when solar input isn't enough.
