The Victron Energy 12V 60Ah AGM Super Cycle battery is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery built for regular deep cycling. It uses a modified plate alloy and higher-density paste to hold capacity through repeated deep discharges better than a standard AGM cell, making it suited to solar, marine and off-grid setups that draw the battery down daily.

Applications

Solar off-grid systems with daily charge and discharge cycles, marine house battery banks, motorhome and caravan leisure setups, UPS and backup power with regular discharge events, small off-grid cabins and remote monitoring, and trolling motor or auxiliary propulsion systems.

Installation notes

Set the charging source, whether a solar charge controller, inverter-charger or standalone charger, to an AGM profile with correct absorption and float voltages. Do not use a gel or lithium charge profile. The battery can be mounted in any orientation except inverted, and must not be installed in a fully sealed airtight enclosure since VRLA batteries can vent gas under fault or overcharge conditions.
