Victron battery isolators and combiners let a single alternator or charger keep two or more battery banks topped up without one bank draining into another. Cyrix combiners use a voltage-sensing relay to connect and disconnect banks automatically, which suits split-charge setups in motorhomes, boats and professional vehicles. Argodiode isolators offer a simpler alternative where a small voltage drop is acceptable.
The range also includes BatteryProtect units, which disconnect a load before the battery is damaged by over-discharge, and the Battery Balancer for keeping series-connected batteries in step. Models cover 12V, 24V and 48V systems with current ratings from 65A up to 220A, so the right choice depends on the size of the load and the system voltage in use.
