The VE.Direct to USB interface links any Victron Energy device fitted with a VE.Direct port to a Windows, Mac or Linux computer over USB. Applications

Installers use this cable for on-site commissioning of MPPT solar charge controllers, pushing firmware updates to VE.Direct-compatible devices, and pulling live data on a laptop when diagnosing a fault. Not a permanent monitoring link

This cable is a configuration and diagnostic accessory rather than a monitoring cable for continuous use. For remote or persistent monitoring, a GX device is the correct product, not this interface.

Installation notes

Plug the interface into the VE.Direct port on the target device and into a free USB port on the computer, then open VictronConnect. Check Victron's release notes for the current VictronConnect version before use.
