The Victron Quattro 12/5000/220-100/100 is a 5000VA inverter charger built around a 12V battery bank, with dual AC input capability and automatic transfer switching between the two sources. Dual AC input and PowerAssist

Input 1 typically connects to shore power or mains, Input 2 to a generator. The Quattro monitors both and switches based on availability and programmable priority. Each input carries a 100A pass-through rating, so substantial AC loads can bypass the inverter stage directly, cutting heat and improving efficiency. PowerAssist lets the unit draw on the battery to supplement a current-limited AC source, such as a small generator, so that source is not overloaded.

System integration

VE.Bus connects the Quattro to the Victron GX device ecosystem, including Cerbo GX and Color Control GX, for monitoring and control. Multiple units can be run in parallel for extra capacity, or arranged in split-phase and three-phase setups for larger installations. At 36.5kg it needs secure, ventilated mounting in a suitable enclosure or battery compartment.
