The Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70-16 combines an inverter and a battery charger in one unit for 24V battery bank systems. It puts out 3000VA of continuous AC power at 230V and includes a 70A charger, so a single enclosure covers both inversion and charging for off-grid, marine or vehicle installations.

How PowerAssist works

On a limited AC supply, such as shore power or a small generator, the MultiPlus draws any shortfall from the battery bank instead of overloading the source. A 16A supply can then run loads that would otherwise trip a breaker. PowerControl applies the same current-limiting logic when PowerAssist is switched off.

System integration

VE.Bus lets the MultiPlus connect into a wider Victron setup. It can be monitored and configured remotely through a Cerbo GX or other GX device. Multiple units can be paralleled for extra capacity or arranged for three-phase output, so the 24/3000/70-16 works as a building block rather than a fixed-capacity unit.
