Applications

The threaded locking collar on the M8 connector keeps the cable seated where vibration is a factor, which suits marine installations and mobile battery builds as well as fixed enclosures. At 5 metres it reaches between a BMS unit and a battery bank that sit apart within a larger cabinet, and having two cables in the pack covers installations with a second parallel string or a spare run kept on hand.

These cables carry the connections used for Victron BMS communication and control wiring and are not rated for mains voltage. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or experienced Victron installer, with pole orientation checked before connecting.
