The Victron LiFePO4 Battery 51.2V 100Ah NG is a lithium iron phosphate battery for off-grid, backup and solar storage installations. Nominal energy is 5.12kWh at 51.2V nominal voltage, suiting 48V battery bank set-ups used with Victron inverter-chargers and Multi systems. This is the NG (New Generation) variant, SKU BAT548110620.

Product overview

The integrated BMS communicates with compatible Victron equipment, letting the system respond to battery state in real time. This matters in systems using a Victron MultiPlus, Quattro or other VE.Bus-compatible inverter-charger, where the BMS can signal charge current limits and disconnect commands directly to the inverter. Installers should check communication cable and protocol compatibility with the specific inverter or charge controller in use.

Units can be mounted upright and connected in parallel to increase capacity, or in series-parallel arrangements where the system design allows. Follow Victron's published wiring and fusing guidance for lithium battery banks. At 37kg, positioning during installation needs two people or mechanical assistance.
