Product Description

This Victron Energy adapter cord converts a CEE 16A/250V shore power plug to a Schuko (Type F) coupling, letting you connect CEE shore supplies to equipment or inlets wired for Schuko. It is a common requirement on boats, motorhomes and off-grid sites where the two connector standards meet.

Key features

  • Rating, 16A at 250V AC for single-phase shore power
  • Plug end, CEE 16A (IEC 60309, 2P+E, blue) for shore power pedestals and campsite hookups
  • Coupling end, Schuko (Type F) for European domestic and marine equipment inlets
  • Weight, 0.3 kg, compact enough to store aboard a vessel or in a vehicle

Solar inverter accessories and shore power

CEE and Schuko connectors both appear across European shore power and off-grid installations, but they don't mate directly. This cord bridges the two, feeding a CEE 16A supply into equipment or an inlet terminated in Schuko. It suits boats, campervans and static off-grid setups where the pedestal is CEE but the onboard wiring is Schuko.

The 16A/250V rating matches the standard single-phase supply found at most European marinas, campsites and temporary site connections. It is built for the intermittent connection cycles of leisure and light commercial use rather than continuous industrial loads.

Applications

  • Connecting a boat or narrowboat to a CEE pedestal via a Schuko inlet
  • Adapting campsite or marina CEE hookups for Schuko-terminated motorhome or caravan inlets
  • Temporary site power where CEE supply and Schuko equipment are both in use
  • Off-grid cabins and static installations needing a CEE to Schuko interface

What's in the box

  • 1 x Adapter Cord 16A/250V CEE Plug to Schuko Coupling

Installation notes

This is a plug-and-use adapter, no hardwiring needed. Isolate the shore supply before connecting or disconnecting, and check that supply voltage and frequency suit the connected equipment. For permanent shore power wiring on a vessel, use a qualified marine electrician familiar with the relevant regulations.
