Product overview

AGM batteries hold the electrolyte in a fibreglass mat separator, so there's no free liquid acid. That means the battery can be installed in any orientation other than inverted, and it's safe for enclosed spaces such as boat battery compartments, caravans and off-grid cabins where a vented flooded battery would need extra ventilation.

Being a deep cycle type, it's designed for regular, meaningful discharge and recharge rather than the shallow cycling of automotive or UPS standby batteries. That suits solar storage and inverter backup duties. The M6 threaded inserts take standard M6 bolts, so cable lugs fasten directly rather than relying on clamp connectors that can work loose.

Pair it with a Victron MPPT or inverter/charger and select the correct AGM charge profile to get the best cycle life from it.

Installation notes
