Product Description

This 10mm² solar PV extension cable comes pre-crimped with Amphenol waterproof connectors, made by Helukabel (HIKRA) in Germany. It is supplied in ready-to-use lengths from 5 metres to 50 metres, so there is no need for crimping tools on site.

Key features

  • Cross-section, 10mm² for longer cable runs with minimal voltage drop
  • Connectors, pre-crimped Amphenol type, waterproof and dust-proof
  • Lengths, available from 5m to 50m
  • Certification, EN50618 certified, rated to 1500V DC
  • Polarity, supplied as a red and black pair
  • Core, tinned copper multi-stranded for flexibility and low resistance

Cable characteristics

  • Nominal voltage (AC): 0.6/1.0kV
  • Maximum operating voltage (DC): 1.8kV
  • Internal test voltage: 2.0kV DC
  • Double insulation for added safety and durability
  • Suitable for free-hanging and fixed installations
  • Product code: HIKRA SOL 1500V EN50618

Applications

Used to extend runs between solar panels and combiner boxes or inverters on residential, commercial and industrial PV systems. The outer sheath is UV-stable and water-resistant, so it works equally well outdoors, buried directly in the ground, or in free-hanging installations. TUV and VDE certified.
