The BFS-S1 is a string-level load break disconnect switch built for single string rooftop solar PV rapid shutdown. Rated to 1500VDC and 50A, it gives fast DC disconnection on a single PV string, reducing electrical hazards for firefighters and emergency crews attending a rooftop solar installation.
Fitted for rapid shutdown compliance on single string rooftop solar PV systems, giving emergency DC disconnection on small residential arrays.
Must be installed by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited solar installer, in line with relevant fire safety and PV installation standards.
