This set of 4 hall-effect current sensors adds digital monitoring to individual solar PV strings. Each sensor is rated at 30A and works with the Voltacon PV string monitoring system, which supports up to 19 independent strings from a single digital controller. One set covers 4 strings at once.

Applications

These sensors act as expansion units for the Voltacon PV string monitoring system, adding coverage for additional strings in multi-string solar arrays. They are used wherever individual string current needs to be tracked separately from the rest of the array.

Installation notes

Each sensor clips around the DC conductor of a single string. They pair with the Voltacon PV string monitoring controller, and installation should be carried out by a qualified solar engineer.
