The BHT-5/5 Series combiner box brings string-level rapid shutdown to rooftop solar arrays, giving firefighters a safe way to isolate DC power in an emergency. It takes 5 solar PV string inputs and outputs, rated at 50A per string at 1500V DC, and cuts DC power across all strings the moment AC supply is removed from the property.

This DC isolation function reduces the risk of electric shock on the roof during a fire or fault and helps installations meet rapid shutdown requirements for rooftop fire safety.
