A rail-free mounting system for fitting solar panels on trapezoidal metal and corrugated roofing. Each set of four AL6005-T5 aluminium pads supports one panel directly, removing the need for a full-length mounting rail. Every pad sits on an EPDM rubber base for a weatherproof fixing point, and end and middle clamps are supplied with each order.

How it works

Four short aluminium pads fix directly to the crest of the corrugation profile, each sealed with an EPDM rubber base to stop water ingress. The panel is then clamped straight onto the pads with the supplied end and middle clamps. Clamp and Allen bolt quantities are scaled automatically to however many pad sets you order, so there's no separate accessory purchase to work out.

Applications

Suited to solar PV on trapezoidal and corrugated metal roofing, particularly on agricultural and industrial buildings. Useful where a full-length rail is impractical, and for cost-effective single-panel or multi-panel arrays on metal sheet roofs.

Installation notes

Must be installed by a qualified solar installer. Each pad needs to be fixed into the crest of the corrugation, into a structural purlin below. Check purlin spacing matches your panel and pad layout before ordering, and assess wind uplift forces for the site against the fixing capacity of the screw type chosen.
