Product Description
The Victron Skylla-TG 24/100(1+1) is a high power battery charger for 24V systems, delivering up to 100A of charge current from a 230V AC single-phase supply. It is built for marine, off-grid and industrial standby installations where dependable, high-current charging matters.
Key features of this marine battery charger
- Output, 24V at up to 100A charge current.
- Configuration, 1+1 dual output, with a main charge output plus an auxiliary output for a second battery bank.
- AC input, 230V AC single-phase, suited to standard UK and European mains.
- Charging, adaptive charge algorithm that adjusts to battery condition over successive cycles.
- Temperature sensing, accepts a battery temperature sensor input for temperature-compensated charging.
- Monitoring, compatible with Victron VE.Bus and monitoring systems for remote visibility.
- Settings, adjustable charge voltage and current to suit different battery chemistries and bank sizes.
How the dual output works
The two outputs are independently regulated. The main output runs the bulk, absorption and float stages for the primary bank, while the auxiliary output keeps a secondary bank topped up at float voltage. This removes the need for a separate trickle charger on the second bank.
Applications
The Skylla-TG 24/100(1+1) suits commercial and leisure vessels with two battery banks, large 24V off-grid systems charged from shore power or a generator, industrial standby and UPS battery backup, coaches and heavy vehicles with 24V systems, and telecoms or remote infrastructure sites needing continuous charging.

Installation notes
Fit this charger with a qualified electrician or marine electrical engineer experienced with high-current DC systems. The AC supply needs correctly rated overcurrent protection, and DC output cabling must be sized for 100A continuous current and kept as short as practical to limit voltage drop. Marine installs should follow the relevant ISO and NMEA wiring standards, and the unit needs adequate ventilation in operation. If pairing with VE.Bus or a GX device, follow Victron's system design guidance for setup.
