This Voltacon digital monitoring system tracks the output current of up to 24 individual PV string groups using hall-effect sensors. Measuring each string separately, rather than the array as a whole, means an underperforming or faulted string shows up straight away instead of being masked by the rest of the array.

Installation notes

The hall-effect sensors clip around each string conductor. The monitoring controller needs a stable DC power supply. Installation and commissioning should be carried out by a qualified solar engineer.
