Product overview

This is one of the largest single-phase units in the MultiPlus-II range, combining an inverter, charger and transfer switch for installations that need to carry substantial continuous loads: commercial premises, large off-grid properties or critical backup systems.

PowerAssist lets the unit supplement an undersized generator or a limited grid connection by drawing extra power from the battery bank when AC demand goes above the available supply, so a smaller generator can be used without load shedding. PowerControl does the opposite job: it caps the load drawn from the AC input to a set limit, protecting the source from overload.

Several MultiPlus-II units can run in parallel for extra output, or in a split three-phase arrangement for three-phase loads. Configuration and monitoring go through VEConfigure and the Victron VRM ecosystem via a compatible GX device. The 140A charger restores a large battery bank quickly, useful where generator run time needs to stay low.
