Product overview

The unit pairs a sine wave inverter with a high-current charger and an AC transfer switch. Connect an AC source, such as shore power or a generator, and it charges the battery bank while passing AC through to loads. Lose that source and the transfer switch takes over. The 70A charger runs Victron's four-stage bulk, absorption, float and storage algorithm, adjusting absorption time to the previous discharge to reduce unnecessary charge time. It works with flooded, AGM and gel lead-acid batteries, and can be set up for lithium via VEConfigure.

VE.Bus lets the MultiPlus Compact join a larger Victron system. Monitor and control it through a Victron GX device such as the Cerbo GX, or configure it remotely via VRM. Connect several units in parallel for more capacity, or set up split-phase or three-phase output where the installation calls for it.
