Hytronik HC430S Attachable Microwave Sensor On/Off

The Hytronik HC430S is an attachable microwave sensor with an on/off switching function, built for fitting to the outside of commercial light fittings. It's intended for cases where a metallic body or louvre on the fixture would otherwise block microwave detection.

An optional external metal conduit can be added to extend the plastic conduit, useful where the recessed metal wall area is too thick for the standard conduit to pass through while keeping IP65 protection.

Applications

Designed for commercial light fittings where the sensor needs to sit outside the fixture body. Three settings are adjustable on site: the detection area, the hold time, and the sensitivity of the photocell, so it can be tuned to the space it's controlling.

Detection and mounting

The sensor works on microwave motion detection rather than passive infrared, letting it see through non-metallic housings. Detection range, angle and mounting height are all listed in the specification table below for reference during installation.
