Product Description
The Hoymiles HF-800-WB is a plug-in solar microinverter rated at 800VA, built for small residential PV systems in the UK. It combines G98 compliance, anti-islanding protection and built-in Wi-Fi monitoring in a single compact unit, supplied from UK stock with a 12-year manufacturer warranty.
Compact micro inverter for UK grid-connected solar
The unit is G98 type-tested for UK low-voltage networks and carries an ENA registration reference of HOYMZ/18074/V1/A3. If two panels are connected, they should be wired in series with a maximum PV output of 90Vdc, and MPPT tracking reached 99% accuracy under these conditions.

Simple plug-in installation
Compatible solar panels connect to the DC input, and the AC output connects to the property through the supplied 5 metre cable fitted with a UK Type G plug. A European plug version is also available. This makes the unit suitable for balconies, patios, gardens, garages and sheds where panels sit close to a household socket.
Anti-islanding and monitoring
If mains supply is lost, the microinverter automatically stops exporting solar power to the circuit and only resumes once the grid supply and voltage and frequency conditions have returned to normal. Once connected to a home 2.4GHz network, output can be checked through the Hoymiles S-Miles Cloud app, with Bluetooth available for local setup.
